Ep. 23: Father’s Day Gifts & 3500 Calories

Episode 23!! We've got a full house and I'm joined by Isaac, Johnny, Rudy, Jaime, and my brother Hiram virtually from LA.  We start by talking about what we got for Father's day and how it's not as glamorous as Mother's Day.  John takes a Ferris Bueller's day off and treats himself.  We made some steaks prior to recording the podcast getting ready for the Texas Cook'em High Steaks in Edinburg.,  We talk about a local Whataburger and how someone found maggots in their meat.  We debate whether this really happened or was it an attempt to go viral. I voice my opinion on Show Parking and why so many people in the Rio Grande Valley have to back up their truck into every spot closest to the store. 

We talk about what our ideal dinner outing would be for Father's Day.   Options include steakhouses, seafood botanas, pizza, and more.  Hiram gives us an example of an LA outing for brunch.  We talk a little High Steaks Cook'em.  Hiram talks about what Chris  Helmsworth (Thor) eat s in a day to get in super hero shape.  He gives us a breakdown of his 3500 calorie a day diet.  Jaime walks a fine line trying to join Charles Barkley in the cancel culture.  Hiram pitches his idea to be the next Mexican Thor.

We play a little Family Feud style game where the guys guess the top Father's Day gifts from 2021.  Again the guesses are way off and the answers will surprise you.  Rudy keeps guessing different items of clothes. I give a breakdown of what the same list looked like in 2013.  We talk a little Mickey Mouse operation and end the podcast with some controversial Batman and Catwoman talk.
